Organiser Integrity360 announces agenda will explore critical topics including intelligence, leadership, automation, optimising value, and detection and response
London, 20 April 2022: Registration has opened for the Security First London 2022 conference to be hosted by Integrity360, the UK’s largest cyber security services specialist, on Thursday 28 April at IET London: Savoy Place. The full-day event will bring together industry professionals and subject matter experts to discuss the latest cyber security trends and offer actionable advice on how to put security first in 2022. Registration is now open here.
The agenda includes inspiring Keynote Speaker sessions from top-of-their-game specialists, a series of energising panel discussions and interviews, and interactive demos and technical workshops offering deep-dives into cutting edge cyber security technologies. There will also be an open Q&A forum where attendees can connect with CISOs and experts from high-profile organisations to ask advice on aspects of managing security.
Opening the day will be a riveting presentation on Why intelligence is fundamental to cyber security, from former MI6 Chief Sir Alex Younger. Sir Alex became the UK’s Spy Chief – a position known as ‘C’ – in 2014. He served in this role for six years, and in 2019 became the longest-serving MI6 Chief in 50 years. As the head of counter-intelligence, a role he held from 2009, he was involved in security for the London Olympics 2012.
Also presenting on the Keynote Stage will be guest speakers:
In addition, senior experts from across Integrity360 will share unique insights on Embedding a Security First Approach in 2022; Security in a Hybrid World; Maximising Return on Security Budgets; Exploiting and Exploring Cyber Security Frameworks for Optimised Value and Demystifying Detection and Response.
The panel discussions will explore three critical topics: From Zero to Zero Trust Hero, Automating to Succeed, and How Can You Prepare for the Next LOG4J.
Another must-see will be technology journalist, reporter and author Kate Russell interviewing Deborah Haworth, CISO of Penguin and Steven Capper, CIO of SNC-Lavalin on the theme of Shared Learning: The Challenges of a Modern CISO.
Deborah Haworth says: “In today’s geopolitical and commercial threat landscape cyber-attacks are no longer about gaining kudos for breaching the unbreachable; they have become monetised and weaponised. It is vital that CISOs stay relevant by constantly learning and adapting. I am looking forward to discussing how CISOs are meeting this myriad of challenges head on.”
Steven Capper adds: “I'm really looking forward to speaking at Integrity360's Security First conference, where I'll be discussing how the modern CISO can tackle current and predicted cyber threats head on, what we need to think about to prepare our business for today's threat landscape and also sharing some lessons learnt."
Matt Tomlinson, Integrity360’s sales director, says: “Now the industry’s ready to meet in person again, we were determined to create a really meaty agenda geared towards the key challenges cyber security professionals face today. Our conference programme is rich with thought leadership and actionable insights, combined with opportunities to get hands-on with technology and to network. We were especially thrilled to secure Sir Alex Younger as our Keynote Speaker – it will be a true privilege to learn from his in-depth knowledge of state security and how to protect citizens from future threats.”
